Richard trained in furniture design and manufacture and also holds a postgraduate diploma in environmental studies, which he incorporates in his approach to glasswork design.
Richards sculpted glass panels feature subtle, original designs that reflect his penchant for simple, luminously expressive imagery.
Worked in clear or coloured glass, each piece takes full advantage of the complex interplay of light and form that kiln-worked glass can offer.
